The Role:

As Strategy & Business Operations Manager, you will fuel Pave’s rapid growth by combining operational leadership, market intelligence, and strong relationship-building. You’ll map the industry landscape, zero in on what truly matters for Pave, and build the systems that drive exceptional execution across our team. This is a hands-on role for a business athlete who thrives in early-stage environments – someone with relentless drive, sharp prioritization instincts, and the discipline to turn vision into reality through hard work, creativity, and decisive action.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Pave’s weekly and monthly operating rhythms — including team meetings, priority alignment, initiative tracking, and KPI reviews
• Build and improve Pave’s internal systems and workflows to support business development, project delivery, and customer success
• Lead the adoption of AI and modern software tools to streamline operations across task management, CRM, HR, invoicing, accounting, and project execution
• Jump in on high-priority projects, proposals, and site-level execution where needed to keep momentum high
• Conduct industry and market research to map emerging trends, key players, and customer opportunities across EV, AV, and fleet infrastructure
• Develop and maintain high-impact materials for business development and fundraising — including slide decks, financial models, briefs, and talking points
• Support the CEO on deal structuring, contract negotiations, product development, and building relationships with customers, investors, and other key stakeholders.
